Installing Cold Air Intake 92-95 Civic
This install was performed by my brother and his buddy, on a hatch, but there is not much variation between years or even models for that matter, lets face it, this fails to be the most complicated install in history, but still worth noting
First all the old stock components must be removed, and this can easily be done with common hand tools, a flat blade scredriver and a 10mm socket
Now before the installation of the new hardware, be sure that the new piping is... err... in tune?
Then Proceed to install the piping with the provided couplers and hose clamps:
Then fit the filter from underneith:
Using Our High Tech Desktop Dyno Known as Photoshop we were able to calculate the expected top Speed Gains.... yeah.... Pay no attention to the alternator, parking brake, or oil light... um....
Next: To gain access to where the filter will be mounted to gobble up that frosty cold air the front bumper needs to be removed. (I have seen people skip this step on other model civics, but its like six bolts and makes it 10X's easier... so just do it!
One of the first modifications almost everyone makes is to ditch the stock air cleaner and through on a cold air intake, so we decided to show you how to install one.

Now one step that has been omited from our pictures is the rubber gasket that prevents the intake pipe from rattling against the passage hole, so dont forget to add it! Then Reinstall Your bumper and you are good to go test out your new bolt on. Watch out for deep puddles as you dont want to suck up water!
